Waist Deep

Graphic: A series of low pressure systems continue to linger over Denali.

“Was like traveling inside a ping pong ball.” -Lonnie

Poor visibility and waist deep snow forced Lonnie to use his GPS as he made his way from 8400ft camp to just shy of 8800ft mark. Overall, because of these poor conditions it was a short day, about 4 hours of traveling.

Highlights in the food department included chicken noodle soup for breakfast and chocolate for lunch.

We did receive a brief voicemail update this evening, however due to poor reception only a few fragments are audible, therefore we will not be including it tonight.
