Lonnie is all fed and snuggled into his “luxurious” snow cave at 11.2K. The cave consists of kitchen and bedroom, and is outfitted with LED lighting.
It was another picture perfect day in which Lonnie took three quarters of his supplies up Motorcycle Hill to base of Squirrel Hill at about 12K. During his journey up, Lonnie saw Paul Roderick (Talkeetna Air Taxi pilot) flying over, we later learned it was instead another pilot, Danial, whom flew us into basecamp last year.
Today Lonnie, also collected rock samples for Adventurers and Scientists for Conservation and spent some time taking photos during this beautiful day.
